LEVEL 6

IAT Diploma

Our Level 6 Diploma continues on from Level 5 and will see you graduate with a full Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science & Technology. The highest level of our Diplomas will cover 4 individual learning units in detail, the largest being the Project Planning and Project unit where you are given the opportunity to develop your own research project with the guidance of our expert tutors.

Find out more about the units covered in Level 6 below or alternatively, if you are unable to commit to a full IAT HE Diploma but would still like to improve your skills, each unit covered in our Diploma is also available as a stand alone CPD course.

Animal Facility

Management & Design

Learn about the process of animal facility design, construction and modification, and develop your ability to reflect on management theories and strategies.

Physiology of

Pain & stress

Consider the biological basis of pathological change and animal behaviour, with particular reference to pain and stress.

Project Planning

& Project

Research, review, analyse and debate current scientific theories, and learn how to manage a project effectively through your chosen research topic.

IAT Fellowship

Complete levels 4-6 of LAS&T and not only will you be awarded a BSc Degree but you will become eligible for IAT Fellowship status, and the opportunity to sit on IAT Council.
